AstroGun has released the official music video for their second single from the album Truth & Lies called Down In The Alley. The song's infectious guitar hook and deep brooding lyrics match perfectly with the dark, yet beautifully haunting imagery!

The concept of the video came about in wake of the departure of former lead singer Andy Morrison. Rather than abandon the idea of making a video without a lead singer, it was thought to create the character of a singer who is unknown and mysterious, and whose presence may or not be part of reality. In the end, this character proves to be an evil presence! It was directed/produced by B.G. Aramayo (instagram @bgaramayo), and cinematography by Crystal Cox (instagram @crystal.cr2).
Down In The Alley is part of an 11-track LP called Truth & Lies released in the summer of 2021. It features sounds heavily influenced by newer alternative groups like The Killers and The Strokes as well as older ones like Nirvana and Joy Division. The 8-track EP Truth & Lies Rectified was released in February 2022 as a re-mix and mastering of some tracks from its predecessor in an effort to give them a more raw, aggressive sound. The band is currently finalizing the mixing and mastering of their upcoming third LP to be released later this year.
AstroGun formed after a group of friends started jamming together in Queens NY. The current founding members include Robby Thunders on lead guitar and Astro Li on drums. In the summer of 2019 Adam Stabile joined as bassist and later on became the lyricist for the group - he has provided lead vocals for the upcoming third album. Aymeric Nocella joined as a rhythm guitarist in the Fall of 2022 after the departure of Craig McKay.
